Itinerary

Day 1 Windhoek

In the late morning you will be collected from your Hotel or the Airport in Windhoek and transferred to the Belvedere Boutique Hotel. In the afternoon we go on a city sightseeing tour.

Day 2 & 3 Sossusvlei

Today we head out towards Sossusvlei, the highest sand dunes in the world. On route we stop at a small bakery in Solitaire for refreshments. The following morning we enter the park and view Sesriem Canyon and go for a walk among the dunes. Sossusvlei Lodge

Day 4 & 5 Swakopmund

Heading back north we traverse the beautiful Kuiseb pass on route to the Atlantic Ocean and Swakopmund. This quaint town offers an insight to Namibia’s Colonial German heritage with many corner Cafe’s and typical architecture. The next morning we head for Walvis Bay and onto Pelican Point to spend a few hours kayaking with large schools of seals and view flocks of Flamingos, seagulls and Pelicans.

Day 6 Damaraland

It’s time to head back inland along a salt road with views of the majestic Spitskuppe in the distance and onto our lunchtime stop at the Brandberg White Lady – a 2 hour hike will lead us into the heart of Namibia’s highest mountain range to view ancient rock paintings.- we continue on into Damaraland and to the Damara Mopanae Lodge.

Day 7 - 9 Etosha

Day 7: Today we visit the mysterious Vingeklip on route to Okaukuejo Camp in Etosha. An afternoon game drive leads us to the camp which boasts a spectacular waterhole.

Day 8: An early start as we go on a full day game drive to Halali Camp, in search of the varied wildlife in the park. We stop at waterholes and on the Etosha pan for beautiful photographic opportunities.

Day 9: Another early start will take us on another full day game drive to the most easterly camp in Etosha – Namutoni

Day 10 Rundu

Today we leave Etosha behind us and we visit the Hoba Meteorite just outside of Grootfontein on route to Rundu, the gateway to the Caprivi on the banks of the Okavango River. We go on a sunset river cruise on the Okavango. Hakusembe River Lodge

Day 11 Divundu – Popa Falls

Today we head east on our way to the Caprivi region. We follow the bend in the Okavango River through Divundu and onto Ndhovu Safari Lodge. In the afternoon we visit the Popa Falls, a series of rapids along the Okavango.

Day 12 & 13 Guma Lagoon

We continue to follow the Okavango and go on a game drive in the Mahango National Park before crossing into Botswana. We visit the ancient rock art at Tsodilo Hills before arriving at Guma Lagoon or Nguma Island Lodge. The following morning we head out on a serene Mokoro tour with local Poler’s, meandering through the channels of the Okavango.

Day 14 Maun

The road south leads us to Maun, the unofficial capital of the Okavango. The afternoon is set aside to relax or go on an optional scenic flight over the delta and see first-hand what the maze of channels looks like from above. Thamalakane River Lodge or Cresta Rileys.

Day 15 & 16 Kwai and Moremi

The true wilderness starts today as we board open safari vehicles to head north to Mogotlo Safari Lodge, a private concession on the outskirts of Kwai and Moremi Game Reserves. We explore the region on a night drive and a full day Kwai/Moremi game drive.

Day 17 & 18 Savuti

We continue north, deep into Savuti, a remote wilderness camp around a campfire awaits us as we settle in to sounds of the African bush. We explore the area with our expert guide in a safari vehicle, learning and watching the natural spectacle unfold. Mobile Safari Camp

Day 19 & 20 Kasane - Chobe

After a leisurely breakfast we continue north and on to Kasane - gateway to the Chobe National Park. Chobe Safari Lodge is situated along the banks of the mighty Chobe River. The following morning we get up early to go on an open vehicle safari in the Park, followed by a late afternoon river cruise.

Day 21 & 22 Victoria Falls - Departure

The final leg of this tour brings us to Victoria Falls. In the afternoon we go on a tour of the majestic falls. The following morning, you will have time to partake in any of the activities on offer until you are transferred to the airport around noon. A’Zambezi River Lodge or Cresta Sprayview
